MEAT 7TH EDITION
The Handbook of Australian Meat 7th edition
(International Red Meat Manual) was released in 2005 and
is available in other Languages.
The English version is available through AUS-MEAT for AUD$99.00
Other Language versions of the Handbook of Australian Meat are
available through Meat and Livestock Australia and their
appropriate International Regional Offices. Translated versions
available are: Japanese / Korean / Traditional Chinese / Simplified
Chinese / Spanish.
MLA is endeavouring to publish an Arabic and French version of
the Handbook of Australian Meat in 2007/08.

USERS' GUIDE TO
AUSTRALIAN MEAT 4th EDITION.
The Users' Guide to Australian Meat 4th edition has been
published with commercial expertise and technical advice from
various organizations in the domestic meat industry sector. The
purpose of this guide is to provide the domestic meat industry with
a publication that provides in part a training tool with guidance
to a Meat Quality System and for some Territory / State regulatory
requirements for the domestic meat industry. This guide provides
detailed references to meat specification, trading language, MSA
meat grading programs, meat quality, technical criteria, meat
yields/weight range guide and colour images of
Beef/Veal/Lamb-Sheep/Goat primal and sub primal cut items.
